I was diagnosed with PTSD. I had been to 3 other therapists before meeting Marette. They were helpful but none so much as Marrette. Marrette understood my symptoms and what was going on with me. Better yet, she knew bow to treat my symptoms. She listened like a good objective friend and helped relieve the symptoms with her knowledge and compassion. She administered EMDR and I am still amazed how much it helped. I' was able to move on. Now that I'm able to experience life again I need to make another appointment with help for that. Thank you so much Marrette! ☺

Marette is amazing. I don't say that lightly. I work with social workers and therapists all the time as part of my job and see their strengths and weaknesses. I have never worked with anyone that is better at assessing the client's needs and working with them to meet those needs. She is an effective agent of change and growth, and the best I've seen at avoiding the unhealthy entrapments clients can bring. Consequently, she is able to "do no harm" which not all therapists are able to do.
She genuinely cares about her clients and has the experience, fortitude, insight, skills, and ability to teach that enable her to effectivly help them change, heal, and become whole. If you are reading this, I'm happy for you if you decide to start your journey of growth with Marette. It won't be easy, nope, she will push you, and you will have to struggle. But she will help move you to become the person you want to be and help ease the pain you may feel. She had done that for me and that is amazing.

Marette lives up to the title "center for counseling excellence. She can define the words she uses and clarify their meaning and give examples and references on what she is talking about. She is a good communicator. She takes notes and studies your expressions.she validates feelings. She helps solve problems from your perspective. She is honest and sincere,nurturing and compassionate. She looks for and points out the strengths of her clients. She is familiar with many techniques for helping people. She is a very likable personality and had written a great contract explaining how she can be of help and what her boundaries are.
